Drumroll please... The winner is Trying To Save. And I'm sorry, but your profile doesn't list contact info. If you can e-mail me at ahunt018@verizon.net with your contact info, I'll get it in the mail to you! :)
Thanks to all for entering. I feel very uncultured in ice cream now. I usually just get mint chocolate chip. I think I need to branch out.

Lightlife Frozen Dinners
So I mentioned yesterday that I bought these Lightlife frozen dinners. Let me start off by telling you two things:
1) I am currently sick so nothing tastes good to me.
2) I don't care for frozen dinners. Poor Jimmy eats a lot of them. Some by choice, some due to I'm exhausted and not cooking. I really should do some of that Freezer Cooking. Maybe one day I will.
I was sort of hungry last night and not in the mood to make myself anything (in his defense, Jimmy was at the gym or he might have gotten me something). I decided that the Asian Teriyaki Lightlife dinner was the least offensive looking of anything I had in the house, so heated one up. I loved it. Even Jimmy was suprised when he got home and saw the empty box sitting on the counter, and more suprised at the empty tray next to it.
I mosied on over to their site this morning, and if I ever decide to do the freezer cooking I'll use some of their recipes. They look delicious!
Why am I telling you this? Because I think you should try out the product, too. Especially if you're trying to incorporate more veggies in your diet (I ate 2 servings in the one meal--and it was painless!) If you didn't get the coupon in this week's paper, you can print coupons out on their website. They have a lot more products besides just the frozen dinners, apparently they make the good veggie hot dogs I've had before, too. It looks like Farm Fresh, Health Trail, and Trader Joes are the only stores locally that carry their frozen products, but I want to say Harris Teeter carries some of their other products. You can search for stores by product if you want.
For now, though, I'm going to lay off the cough syrup and go to work.
** I was not compensated to write this post. These are purely my ramblings.

Target Trip 05/04
Seventh Generation Wipes were 2.99 less $1 manufacturer's coupon and $1 Target coupon (unsure if it still available on the Target website, once I reach my limit it won't show me if it's available or not) = .99 cents
Tropicana OJ 2.99 less $1 Target coupon (see above) = 1.99
Yogurts were on sale .47 each
Puffs were 1.34 (go figure I found them .99 at Farm Fresh--when does that ever happen that it's cheaper at the grocery store? When you need them immediately.)
Dentastix sale 3.49 less $1 Target coupon and $2 manufacturer's coupon (both in this week's paper) = .49
I got this DVD for 7.99 less a $2 off coupon no longer available on coupons.com (it is for my Dad for Father's Day so that's why it's covered up)
On a lot of the DVDs were peelies for a free 2 liter Coke product when you bought the DVD, so I got the ginger ale free. (Also good for this nasty sickness I have.)

Total Coupon/Sales Savings 9.15
Farm Fresh 05/04 -- Saved 42%
Today was the last day this week of double coupons up to $1.00 at Farm Fresh. I am sick as a dog, but the urge to use my coupons was calling. (That in itself has got to be an illness! If the math's not right, that's my excuse, too.)
Heinz vinegar was 1.39 each, used $1/2 coupon (.50 cents off available now) = .39 each
Velveeta Shells were 8/$10, bought 4 and used two $1/2 coupons (paper the other week) = .25 each
Lawry's Marinade was 2/$3, used two .50 cents off coupons (paper this week or last?) = .50 each
Viva Paper Towels 1.99 each, used .85 cents off coupon (paper the other week) = .29 each
Lance Crackers 2.00, used $1 off coupon = free
Lightlife Frozen dinners 2.99 each, used two $1 off coupons which weren't supposed to be doubled, but did (paper last week) = .99 each
Kraft 100 calorie pack 2.99, used $1 off coupon (previously available on coupons.com) = .99 each
Then I paid full price for Frosty Paws (3.99) for my dogs, some yogurts (.89 each) and some Garlic Cheese spread (6.99!!!). I also finally found a hamburger press (1.99), who knew they were so hard to find? I got one for myself and a coworker who also was looking for one.
Total Before Tax 25.60
Total Coupon Savings 18.65

Carrabba's Deals, Other Giftcard Deals
** Update: Carrabba's is NOT giving mom a free giftcard this year.
CVS is running a deal like this as well this week, when you purchase a $25 CVS giftcard you'll get a $5 CVS giftcard free.
Gap/Old Navy/Banana Republic did a deal like this around Christmas, but I didn't think about buying it. They were selling their giftcards for 20% off. Yes, sounds weird, but that was the deal. I think I was hoping I'd be good and not shop there this year. Of course then I decided to make a sock wreath for a friend of mine's baby shower so bought a lot of Old Navy baby socks for that.
Anyway, the point is, if you're going to spend money there anyway, why not make it stretch further?
Another good source is Plastic Jungle. They sell giftcards at reduced rates (and will purchase ones off of you, too). I've considered purchasing a Target giftcard to use for my groceries, but the cheapest one I've found is $480 for a $500 giftcard, and well, I don't feel like spending that out of pocket all at once right now. You can search by store or by percentage off the price.
*** Also, see below for the current Chipotle giftcard offer.
